Seymour Hersh – world-class journalist

Few other journalists of his generation have written history on a par with Seymour Hersh.
Since he revealed details of the US Army's massacre in the Vietnamese village of My Lai in 1969 as a young reporter, his investigative journalism has been on the international agenda time after time. Most recently, he has written sensational reports on the Bush government's plans for military strikes against Iran. Revealing the abuse of power of the type defended by referring to national security forms the core of his reporting and books. His latest book is "Chain of Command: The Road From 9/11 to Abu Ghraib". Hersh (71) has won countless awards over the years – including a Pulitzer. One of his secrets is an extensive network of sources, built up over half a century. Meet a powerful personality – often called "the world best investigative journalist". The host is Hersh's three year younger Danish media veteran Jørgen Flindt Pedersen.
